William "Ray" Keith, age 96, of Centerville, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Walnut Creek Nursing Facility.
He was born June 6, 1915 in Somerset, KY to the late John & Lilly Keith.
Ray served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII, where he received the Bronze Star.
He was employed at McCalls/Dayton Press as a pressman for 35 years, where he retired.
Ray was preceded in death by his Brother, Clarence Keith; Sisters, Elizabeth Marie Warndorf and Dorothy Keith.
Ray is survived by his Wife of 68 years, Reparata "Roddy" Keith; Children, Jeannette (Jim) Grantham, of Havana, FL, John (Angela) Keith, of Greenwood, IN and Jeanne (Ted) Hart, of Centerville, OH; Grandchildren, Jennifer, Jimmy, Katie, Amy, Becky, Theresa, Michelle and Luke; Great-grandchildren, Haley, Rachael, Nicholas and Ellen Ashley; Sister, Mary Katherine Harlow; Brother, Richard Keith; and many other relatives & friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
