William A. "Bill" Kedler, age 77 of Dayton, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born June 8, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Andy and Stella Kedler.
Bill retired after 32 years from General Motors and after retiring continued to work part time for KOI Auto Parts, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of his fellow workers. He graduated from Trotwood Madison High School in 1964, where he excelled in athletics. In his younger years, he was an excellent bowler and softball player. For 25 years, he volunteered at Kettering Fairmont working concession stands and helping out in any way he could for the athletic program.
Bill will be remembered for his quiet nature and being an excellent husband and father. He will be missed terribly by his family and friends.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara; beloved daughter, Nicole Kedler; son, William Jr.; brother, Robert Kedler; brother-in-law, Jack (Judith) Faulkner; sisters-in-law, Joy Faulkner and Marcia Bostick; nieces and nephews, Wendy (Ken) Camplin, Kim (Antonio) Machado, Marlo (Alan) Edwards, Kristin (Christopher) Sparaco, Thomas (Christy) Faulkner and Andrew Bostick; and many other loving family members and friends.
