William K. Lindsay

William K. Lindsay "Bill", age 91 of Beavercreek, passed away July 8, 2016. He was born August 3, 1924 in Robbins, TN to the late James S. Lindsay and Edna M. Andrews. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two wives: Beulah "Boots" Lindsay and Helen Lindsay; and sister, Lorraine Wilson.

Bill is survived by his brother, James Kenneth Lindsay; son, James (Janet) Lindsay; daughter, Sharon "Teri" (Charlie) Borger; step-children: Bethany (Mike) Elliott, Marty (Angie) Miller, Joe (Beverly) Miller, Matt (Teresa) Miller, Steve Miller and Suzanne (Clark) Nichols; granddaughters: Heather DeBaecke, Theresa (Dale) Tubesing, Angel Borger and April Borger; many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army, WWII; retired from WPAFB after 38 years of service; and was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Visitation will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bill's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
