William Joseph Marksberry

William J. Marksberry, age 80, of Kettering, passed away at home Thursday, June 4, 2009. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy (Jones) Marksberry; daughters, Debbie May, Diane Gibson (Steve), Denise Mason (Patrick) and Donna Marksberry; son, William Allen Marksberry (Shellie); 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many other friends and relatives. William served in the USMC. He retired from Gem City Engineering. William was a devoted husband and father who will be missed dearly. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from 4-6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
