William John Curry
William J. "Bill" Curry, age 80, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 21, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur & Ann Curry; and son, Kevin Curry.
Bill is survived by his son, Doug (Karen) Curry; son, Mike (Candy) Curry; daughter, Jill Galford; longtime companion, Mary Schultze; grandchildren, Holly (Dave) Truscott, Brittany (Pete) Batteiger, Amy Woolery, Dusty (Elisha) Curry, Andrea Galford and Tiffany Galford; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Dylan, Evan, Gibson, Cole, Cooper, Kole and Cason; siblings, Ruth Ann Balonier, Linda (Ronnie) Grierson and Henry (Jody) Curry; his companion Mary's children, Shelly (John) Moore, RoxAnne (Dale) Kemp and Katrina Schultze; and many other relatives and friends.
Bill was a manager at Plater Service for many years.
He was an avid car lover his whole life.
Bill could bring a smile to anyone's face.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 24, 2011 from 10am-12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 12pm.
Donations may be made in Bill's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
