William J. Weston

William J. "Jim" Weston, age 83, of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010. Jim was born August 7, 1926 in Utica, NY to the late Emmett and Gertrude Weston. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII. Jim was an avid local sports fan. He coached Pee Wee football and little league baseball. Jim was a member of the Huber Heights Masonic Lodge and The Shriners. He retired from WPAFB after 40 years of service. Jim is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beryl Weston; children, Scott (Nancy) Weston, James (Michelle) Weston and William (Linda) LaFortez; grandchildren, Jessica, Billy, Leah, Sean, Katey, Alec, Michael and Thomas; great-grandson, Brayden; and many other friends and relatives. The family will receive friends Monday, May 3, 2010 from 5-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). The service will follow at 7 PM.
