SUTHERLAND, William J. "Bill" age 87 of Kettering, OH passed away Saturday Feb 16, 2008 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joetta, of Kettering, OH; son Bill (Patty) of Beavercreek, OH; daughter Debbie (Glenn) Sullivan of Beavercreek, OH; grandchildren Kari (Rene) Espinoza of San Antonio, TX, Amanda Sutherland of Columbus, OH, Trevor (Laurie) Sutherland of Dayton, OH, Brittany Sullivan of Newport, KY, Brandon Sullivan of Beavercreek, OH, and Ryley Sullivan of Beavercreek, OH; great-grandchildren Madison and Jake Espinoza of San Antonio, TX; and Sister Nora Balthis of Blountville, TN. Bill was a long time member of Far Hills Baptist Church where he served on many committees; retired from Harrison Radiator in August of 1984 after 38 years; served in the US Army in WWII and the Korean War. There will be a Celebration of Life service on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Far Hills Community Church. Entombment at Miami Valley Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd in Beavercreek, OH) on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the Charity of your choice.
