William J. Rhea, age 73, of Woodbine, GA, formerly of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born in Dayton, OH, and retired after 35 years from GM.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bernadette Rhea; brother, Joe Rhea and sister, Barbara Ann McNabb.
William is survived by LaVelle, his loving wife of 54 years; two sons, William (Patricia) Rhea and Mark (Stacey) Rhea; two daughters, Lisa (Sam) Palmer and Patricia (Kevin) Black; sister, Rita (Bill) Watts-Iiames; five brothers, Edward (Vickie), Richard, Thomas (Kathy), James (Mary Lou) and John Rhea. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at St. Helen's Parish, 5100 Burkhardt Rd. Dayton, OH. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
