HODGE, William Harrison, 70, of Centerville, passed away August 1, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Etta Hodge; son, Stephen Michael Hodge and his cousin, Billy Carter. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Gertrude; daughters, Gail (Jackie) Bolton, Sharon Hodge, Julie (Jim) Franzer, Diana (Jamie) Richmond; sons, Don (Connie) Hodge, Jerry (Nelda) Hodge, Doug Hodge, Bill Hodge and David (Madonna) Hodge. William is also survived by his 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jewell (James) Cole, Emma Jean St. John; brothers, Johnny Marshall (Pat) Hodge and Johnny Franklin Hodge Jr. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Knights of Columbus Council 3730 and a veteran of the U. S. Army. William enjoyed playing checkers, fishing and bowling but most of all he was a loving husband and father. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30AM Thursday, August 5, 2004 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at Newcomer Farley Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio and one hour prior to mass at the church. Prayer service will be held 7:30PM Wednesday with a Knights of Columbus service at 7:45PM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
