William Hakes Hoel
William H. Hoel, 88, of Dayton passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 at The Hospice Dayton.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Ina Hoel; wife Betty (Ruggles) Hoel; son William Lee Hoel; and sister Gladys Horn.
William is survived by his children Bonnie(Doug)Grisso, Jimmy(Debbie)Hoel, John Hoel, Marie Lawrence, Danny(Shirley)Hoel, Timothy (Rebecca) Hoel, and Ed (Dian Bauer) Hoel; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
He was a veteran in the U.S. Navy with service in WWII. He worked at NCR and Design Display. William was a member of First United Church of Christ in Dayton.
Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM Tuesday April 12, 2011 at Woodland Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Dr. Dayton Ohio, with services to follow at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
