William Frederick "Bill" Haines, age 76 of Brookville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020. He was born June 14, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert Irwin Haines and Jeanette Susan (Knarr) Haines.
Bill was a 1963 graduate of Northridge High School where he played football. He worked at different grocery stores in the area, starting at Stump's and retiring from Meijers. Bill was a rebel and a spitfire but also had a sweet soul.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, William Edgar Haines; first wife, Pamela Nan Pooler-Haines; second wife, Mary Stidham Haines; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Neal Haines and Marcia Haines; and sister-in-law, Jane Haines.
Bill will be missed by his loving wife of six years, Kay; daughter, Jennifer Haines (Mike Jones); son, Jason Haines; grandchildren, Christian, Crystal, Tony and Benjamin; great-grandchildren, Carmen Smith, Evelyn Haines and Avery Haines; and brothers, Lani Haines, Gerald Haines and John (Karen) Haines.
Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery at the family's convenience.
