William H. Kuntz
Age 94, of Dayton & Brookville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Bill was preceded in death by one son, Dale Kuntz.
He is survived by his wife of the past 57 years, Marjorie H. (Herdle) Kuntz; one son, Paul (Mary) Kuntz; five daughters, Jean (Hiro) Ando, Judy King, Lois (Charles) Bushman, Rita Kuntz and Nina (Brian) Leong; 13 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Bill was a member of Grace United Methodist Church since 1952; active with the Homebuilders Sunday School Class; a member of John Durst Lodge # 716 f & am; and past president of WHK Co. which was an engineering consulting firm that designed model airplanes for testing of aerodynamic instabilities for McDonald Douglas and Israeli Aircraft Industries. Bill was also active with and former chairman of Ohio Camp Farthest Out.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday (11/20) at Grace United Methodist Church, 1001 Harvard Blvd. at Salem Avenue, Dayton. Pastor Sherry Gale officiating. The family will also be receiving friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Bill to the Grace UMC Radio Broadcast Fund.
