God called our angel, William H. "Bill" Bayes, home on Monday, November 3, 2014. He was born March 5, 1932 in Ashland, KY to the late Roy and Margaret (Evans) Bayes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Becky Bayes; 3 daughters, Deborah Ashley, Lisa Bayes and Lori (Steve) McDermott-Bayes; 5 grandchildren, Misty (Isaac) Lowery, William Anthony Gerlaugh, Zachary Ashley, Dustin Ashley and Ashley Bayes; 3 great-grandchildren, Courtney, Sean and Damion; 2 sisters, Betty Berry of Tipp City and Jean LeMaster of Flatwood, KY; 1 brother, Roy Bayes of Florida and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and
friends.
Bill worked and retired after 33 years at General Motors. He was a member of the Dayton Trans-Am Club.
Bill was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, friend and man to all those who loved him.
