William "Bill" G. Gretzinger, age 65 of Huber Heights, passed away June 21, 2023. He was born on October 8, 1957 in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the late John and Joyce Gretzinger.
Bill was preceded in death by brother, John Gretzinger Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 42 years, Donna; sister Karen (Robert) Egnor of Melbourne, FL; children Sean (Alexandra) Gretzinger and Josh (Carolyn) Gretzinger; grandchildren Carina, Ronan, and John Gretzinger, and Brynn Wiley-Gretzinger; nieces and nephews Holly Simmons, RJ Egnor, and Staci Green; brothers and sister-in-law John "Steve" and Jacqueline "Jackie" Gomez, and Dave Gomez.
Bill graduated from Greenon High School (class of 1976). He spent most of his career at Wright-Patterson AFB, where he worked as a computer programmer, system administrator, and IT specialist. Bill made countless friendships during his career, and he valued all the people he worked with across the site. Bill enjoyed vacationing with his wife, gaming with his friends, cooking out, rooting for the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with his family.
