William Clark Gillen

William Clark Gillen, "Bill," age 64 of Miamisburg, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was born June 16, 1959 in Middletown, Ohio, the son of the late William and Anna Gillen.

Bill is a graduate of Middletown High School Class of 1977. He earned his Associate's Degree from Kettering College and became a CT Radiologist Technician. Bill enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, watching the birds, and gardening - he always had the most beautiful flowers. He was also known for having many different collections, ranging from comic books and antiques, to Jim Beam bottles and coins. Bill selflessly chose to retire early, so he could be there to help his daughter after the birth of his grandson, Luke. He will be deeply missed.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Kristen (Mark) Coyne; son, Steven Gillen; grandson, Luke Coyne; sister, Valerie (David) Combs; brother, Gregory (Cindi) Gillen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459). Service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 11:00 am, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Heritage Hills Memory Gardens.
