William Gibson "Bill", age 72 of Dayton, passed away peacefully at his home on December 29, 2018. He was born on April 15, 1946 in Letcher County, KY to the late Jasper and Nancy (Sexton) Gibson. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, April Gibson; first wife, Patricia Gibson and several siblings.
He is survived by his son, Tony Kistner; brothers, O'Dell Slone and Jim Mason; sister, Kat Swain; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bill enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. He was a man of all trades.
A very special thank you to Sherry Marshall for all the love and care she provided Bill.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 8 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton.
