William Gale

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William F. Gale, age 77, beloved husband, father and grandfather. William was born to the late Forrest Gale and Ruth Beeler in Galion, Ohio. He graduated from Johnsville High School in 1955. Bill was a proud veteran of The United States Army and attended The Ohio State University. He retired from NCR after 41 years of service. Bill was a fan of OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. He loved working on his Volvo and woodworking. Bill was a dedicated family man and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Marian Gale; children Lisa (Ian) Berry and William (Leah) Gale; grandchildren Amanda, Craig, Austin, Joelle, Samuel and Cianna; brother Gary Gale. Bill was preceded in death by his brothers Stewart Gale and Robert Gale. A funeral service will be held at Queen of Apostles Church 4435 E. Patterson Rd. Beavercreek, Ohio 45430 on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 12pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
