KOVACS, William G., age 86, of Beavercreek passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009. He was born July 29, 1922 in Saberton, WV. He was a veteran of World War II and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant after 30 years from the United States Air Force where he worked in human intelligence and was a 32nd degree Mason. On his 82nd birthday he shot his age and for the first time after golfing for over 55 years shot his first hole in one 6 weeks later. He is survived by his wife, Doris Kovacs; children, Dan (Gina) Kovacs, Bill Kovacs, Vivian Kovacs, Pam (Jerold) Richards, Joni (Chris) Mulvaney, and Jill (Otto) de la Rosa; grandchildren, Jamie, Lindsey, and Pete Richards, Brendan Griffin, Molly Mulvaney, Mario and Abbi de la Rosa. He was preceded in death by both parents, Daniel and Mary (Szabo) Kovacs; one brother and two sisters. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 2-5 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel with a memorial service beginning at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 10:00 at Dayton National Cemetery.
