PICKERING, William F., age 80, of Beavercreek, died Saturday, September 16, 2006. He was born October 27, 1925 in Jamestown, OH, the son of Louis and Mazie (Anderson) Pickering. William worked for NCR, Siemens, and retired from Koontz-Wagner. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean (Davis); one daughter, Debbie Pettit of Beavercreek; one granddaughter, Nikki Pettit and one grandson, Dusty Morris; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Carl Pickering. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Family Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.) where funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Mickey Kimball officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
