Age 80, of Kettering, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008, after a lengthy illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna & William R. Chenoweth; and by two brothers, Reber & Jack.
He leaves his wife of the past 56 years, Jeanne; son, Steven (& wife, Gwen) Chenoweth; granddaughter, Amanda Chenoweth (& her boy friend, Jason Shumard); grandson, Jason Chenoweth; three great grandchildren, Macie, Jacob & Alaina; two sisters-in-law, Rosemary Herbst & Patsy (& her husband, Dean) Smith; and many good friends.
Bill was a loving, caring and giving person. He was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. A retiree from NCR. A member of Westminster Church. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 N. Dixie Dr, Dayton. Those wishing to drive in procession should meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
If friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of Bill to the American Lung Association.
