ELAM, William "Bill", 90, of Beavercreek, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, June 17, 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Katherine A Elam; son Doug Elam; and three sisters. He is survived by his children Janet (Kenneth) Kowalski and Stephen Paul (Monica) Elam; daughter-in-law Barbara Elam; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; brother Bobby Joe Elam; many other family and friends. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corp with service in WWII. Bill was retired from WPAFB and coached baseball (Class E&F) in Beavercreek. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene, 1850 N Fairfield Rd. Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at Mt Zion Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton and the church for the Senior Outreach Program. We are rejoicing with "grandpa" as he is now in the presence of the Lord.
