William E. Wheeler

Wheeler, William Edward, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years: Betty J. (Cochran) Wheeler; parents: Mallan & Pearl (James) Wheeler; siblings: James Wheeler, Robert Wheeler, Ellen Flory and two infant grandsons. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Delores (Terry) Ozias, Diana (Curt) Crabtree, Debbie (Randy) Foucht, Doris Kirkman; grandchildren: Teri (Peter) Kuzma, Tim Jones, Shawn (Micah) Brunello, Shane (Kim) Brunello, Bill (Tanya) Crabtree, Matt (Pam) Jones, Lawrence (Carrie) Brunello, Matt Kirkman; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. William was a United States Navy Veteran proudly serving during WWII, F & AM West Carrollton Lodge, VFW Post #9927 in Kettering. He retired from DESI. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd. with Pastor Andrew Brewster officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
