KLINGER, William E. II, age 88, of Fairborn passed away Thursday, January 1, 2009. He was born May 1, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Harry and Lois (Jones) Klinger. He proudly served with the United States Army during World War II and retired from The L.M. Berry Company after nearly 30 years of employment as a commercial artist. William was a life member of the NRA, an avid reader, woodworker, and history buff. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Klinger; one son, William E. Klinger, III of Chardon, OH; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Randall Lankford of Fairborn; two grandsons, Randall Jr. and Zachary Lankford; and numerous other relatives and friends. Private family services will be held at a later date.
