William D. Baney

Baney, William D. 67, went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2014 in Tampa, Florida. Bill was born on September 12, 1947 in Sewickley, PA. Bill was preceeded in death by his parents, William D. and Evelyn R. Baney . His two siblings are Georgiana Baney Haman and Timothy Dean Baney. He was serving on the Mauna Kea in the U.S. Navy in California when he met and married Jean Marie Selleck. He leaves behind his wife, Jean of 45 years, four children and their spouses, Dianne and Chris McGuire, Shelly and Michael Willis, William D. Baney and Ruby Parco, James and Rachel Baney. Four grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan McGuire, Kyle and Kyra Willis. During the course of his forty year career with the Kmart Corporation he came to Dayton Ohio. He worked hard for his family his entire career. He lived in the Dayton area for thirty years and retired to Florida in 2011. Bill was a member of Faith Baptist Church in New Port Richey Florida. He was a strong man of faith and served the Lord. His faith and family were his lifelong focus. Graveside services will be at the Dayton National Cemetery 4400 West Third Street, Dayton OH on Wednesday Nov 5 at 3:00 PM.
