William Collins

COLLINS, William G., age 83, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 peacefully at Oak Creek Terrace. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jessie, sister Betty and brother-in-law, Joe Himebaugh. He is survived by his beloved and loving daughter, Susanna Collins of Kettering, OH, twin brother Chris Collins, nephew Jody Himebaugh, nieces Nancy Himebaugh Walton and Pat Annarino and his precious cat and best buddy, Bugger. Born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, SC, Bill served in the Navy during WWII and later made his career at NCR for 40 years. Susanna would like to give special thanks to Area Agency on Aging, everyone at Hospice of Dayton, Oak Creek Terrace, caregiver Suzanne Westfall and long-time neighbors and friends for their love and kindness that was given to her father. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45349) Family will receive guests from 1:00 to 1:30 PM with memorial service to follow.
