William Harlan Clemons, age 79 of Xenia, Ohio, passed away at University of Cincinnati on June 15, 2023. He was born in Menifee, Kentucky on June 8, 1944.
He was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Smith Vassey, father James Clarence Clemons, half sister Debbie Jones Daughtery and nephew Brian Douglas Clemons.
Harlan is survived by his wife Vicki Pemberton Clemons; brother Harold (Judy) Clemons; daughter Geraldine (Glen) Lewis; step children Tammy (Jeff) Osburn, Dale (Deb) Pemberton; grandsons Cameron Croft, Ben Croft, Jacob (Tiffany) Osburn, Zachary (Jessica) Osburn; great grandchildren Rilynn Osburn, Brynlee Osburn, Jameson William Osburn and Eleanor Osburn; half siblings Michael Clemons, James (Sherry) Clemons, Emily Sharon (Richard) Eichhammer, Patricia Smith; nephew Greg Clemons and nieces Christina (Matt) Heidecker, Shelley (Joe) Hall and Dawn (Cletus) Lamm as well as special friend Carol Smith. He is also survived by many cousins and friends. He will be missed by all.
Harlan was employed at Chrysler Air Temp in Dayton, Ohio. He was drafted into the US Army where he served two years, some of which was in Germany. Shortly after his discharge from the service and leaving Chrysler, he worked with his uncle and acquired multiple skills that enabled him to start a handyman business of his own.
Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Thursday July 6, 2023 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
