Bill put the "Going Fishing" sign out Saturday before leaving on his trip with the Great Fisherman in the sky. Just enjoy what you loved most Dad. You are loved and will be greatly missed.
We who shared in his everyday life know how hard it was for Bill (Dad) to leave his home on Third Street and give up that very independent life and take that breath. You stepped into our home and in our lives. We learned that you have a caring heart (that you tried to hide) but you showed it to us. You laughed at your cats and cried when one died. You gave hugs and would say thank-you for something we did for you that day. You shared a piece of candy or asked if we wanted a pop out of your fridge, you shared your cigars that would stink up our house, but it was our time to share with you. You were a very caring Dad and Grandfather. Thank you for the time you spend with us. Your voice will be heard no more, but we can still hear you holler for us "Barb, Tom, David, Harris, Mary Jane, is that you out there?" But you are not here. You will be deeply missed in all of our hearts forever.
Love from all of your family.
