William "Bill" C. Burlile, 69, of Huber Heights, OH, passed away May 31, 2017. He was born in Lebanon, Ohio on May 1, 1948 to Charles and Dorothy (Hersey) Burlile.
Bill retired from the Painter's Local Union #249 of Dayton in 2003. He was an avid drag racer and was inducted into the Kil-Kare Drag Racing Hall of Fame. He won the NHRA Drag Racing National Championship in 1984 and had a love and passion for the sport of drag racing. Bill had a love for his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by three sons, Russell (Christine) Burlile, Larry (Toni) Coulter and William C. (Michelle) Burlile; five grandchildren, Levi, Kyle, Thomas and Ezra Burlile and Kyle Coulter; and Russell's mother and Bill's longtime friend, Arlene Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosemary (Kuntz) Burlile; and a brother, Thomas Russell Burlile.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
