William G. Brown, "Bill," age 73 of Dayton, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020. He was born August 29, 1946 in Menifee County, Kentucky, the son of the late Ernest Brown and Bernice Newton.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Brown; and siblings, Wilma "Sissy" Debusk, Gary "PeeWee" Brown and Gene Brown.
Bill is survived by his wife, Bernice Brown; sons, Darren Brown (Stephine Van Fossen), Jason (Stacy) Brown, William K. (Alicia) Brown; step-children, Clarence (Judy) Powell, Deborah (Bill) Oliver, Rebecca (Steven) Howell; siblings, Charlie Brown and Brenda (Gary) Bowling; grandchildren, Kaley, Gabriela, Megan, Miranda, Lindsey, Jason; 4 step-grandchldren; 9 step great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Bill is a veteran of the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. He also retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Bill was known for his excellent work on vehicle paint and restoration. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Private services. Burial will take place in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
