William Bradbury Clark

Clark, William Bradbury

95, passed away peacefully February 16, 2015. Devoted husband of the late Clara Lane Clark. A loving father, role model and friend to all his children, he was preceded in death by his daughter Molly Zimmerman and son Steve Clark. He is survived by his sons, Scott (Kendra) of Newport KY, and Tom of Greenwich CT, son in law Tad Zimmerman and grandchildren Courtney(Chris) Clark-Rankin of Southgate, KY , Adam Clark of Cincinnati, Haley and Whitney Clark of New York City, Carrie and Meredith Clark of Greenwich, CT and Dane Zimmerman of Kettering. Born in Fairfield, Maine to Rollin and Grace(Bradbury) Clark he graduated from the University of Maine with a degree that brought him to Wright Field at the end of WWII. Throughout his marketing career he was a welcomed and cheerful presence at Wright-Patterson andother airfields around the country and Europe, marketing instrumentation for Kollsman Avionics. As an active member of his church for over 50 years he leaves behind many long term friendships.
A Memorial Service will be held at Fairmont Presbyterian Church on Saturday February 21 at noon with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave, Kettering, OH 45429.
