William “Billy” Schelling Meyer, Jr. lived, loved and laughed hard for 60 years. He did everything at Mach 10 and brought everyone he met and loved along with him for the ride. On December 30, 2024, Billy passed peacefully into the hands of the Lord at his homestead in Camden, Ohio.
Billy is preceded in death by his son, Keaton Meyer and survived by his wife of 30 years, LaDonna Meyer and his son, William “Cody” Schelling Meyer III and his daughter, Mikaela Meyer. He is also survived by his parents, William and Carol “Chic” Meyer and his siblings, Debbie Yount and her husband, Jeff Yount, Tara Meyer, Jeffrey Meyer and his wife, Laynae Meyer. He also leaves behind his nieces, Jackie, Jenny, Rylie, Avery, Raegan, Ava and nephews, Jeffrey and Liam, in addition to countless family and friends.
To honor Billy’s wishes, services will be private and those wanting to pay their respects can do so by donating to Wounded Warriors Project, in Billy’s name. Billy’s family will host an open house at the Presidential Banquet Center in Kettering, Ohio from 1-4 pm on Saturday, January 4, 2025 to celebrate his life and share food, drinks and our stories.
