He was one of eleven children growing up in Peebles, Ohio where he graduated from high school. Bill was a U.S. Airforce Veteran serving during the Korean War. Bill was known as a family man who loved and adored his family. He loved having all his family together and enjoyed cooking for everyone at holiday cook outs. He was there at every graduation, wedding, and other special life events for his boys and his grandchildren to show his support and love for them.
He liked watching all kinds of sports like the Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes, UD Flyers and Bengals. He enjoyed exercising every morning to keep himself strong and healthy for his family.

He was truly a selfless person who cared and willing to help his boys or a family member with whatever they needed throughout the years. Anyone who was blessed to meet him knew he was a genuinely good man. He was a faithful, hard-hard working, strong, humble, kind, funny, handsome, and loving man of God. Our family is going to miss his smile and amazing laugh and especially his special hugs knowing he cared deeply for you with an "I Love You".

Bill enjoyed listening to gospel music and going to church where he was a member of the Valley Street Free United Baptist Church. Throughout the years he and Delores were at church every time the doors were opened. He enjoyed gospel music and reading his Bible daily. He lived out his faith to end of his life on this earth and loved everyone like Jesus.
