William "Bill" Martin

William Andrew Martin, age 77, of Wilmington, Ohio formerly of Kettering, Ohio passed away July 27, 2015 at the VA Hospice Center. He was born to the late Gomer and Lucy Martin on February 15, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 55 1/2 years, Nancy; three children William (Lisa) Martin, Denise Wamsley, David Martin; 10 grandchildren Jesse, Lily, Charlie, James, Andrew, Samuel, Joseph, Michael, Thomas, Jaime and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters. Bill worked for Dayton Plastics for 30 years. He loved fishing, hunting, trapping and gold mining. Bill also loved being with his family and friends. A memorial gathering will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 3pm-4pm with a memorial service at 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VA Hospice Center.
