William "Bill" Luneke
LUNEKE, William "Bill" age 78 passed away March 1, 2011 at Heartland of Beavercreek.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet and parents, William and Elizabeth. He is survived by brother, Robert (Norma Jean); sister, Mary Lou (Joseph) Ruef; 5 nieces; 2 nephews; 13 great- nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great nephew.
He served 4 years in the US Coast Guard and retired from General Motors after many years of service. He was an avid golfer and UD Flyer fan. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge 73 and the Shamrock Club.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 7, 2011 from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Interment at Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the charity of your choice.
