William "Bill" L. Bowsman

William "Bill" L. Bowsman, age 68 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with heavenly family on September 30, 2024. He was born May 10, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio son of the late James Bowsman and Mary Donthuier. 

Bill was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid dog lover and loved Elvis Presley. 

Bill enjoyed watching football regardless the team, he just enjoyed watching a good game. He retired as a diesel mechanic and could always be found helping someone in need with their vehicles. Bill had a big heart and could be an ass at times. However he had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone in need, even taking the shirt off of his back. Bill will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. 

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Bowsman; brother, Jerry Bowsman; sister, Jackie McCurry; and brother-in-law, John McCurry.

Bill is survived by his sister, Joyce McCurry; brother, Bobby Bowman; nephews, Bryan (Jeannie) Kennedy, Gerritt Bowsman, and Jeremy Bowsman; several great nieces and nephews; buddy, Kim Fuerst; as well as numerous other family members and friends. 

Bill will be laid to rest at Willow View Cemetery. A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
