William B. "Bill" Barbee, age 86 of Brookville, passed away November 11 2011. He was born August 13, 1925 in Kentucky to the late George and Anna Barbee.
Bill is survived by his wife, Beni Barbee; daughters: Debra (Rick) Whitmer and June (Jim) Beard; grandchildren: Rachel Stump, Ileah Brown and Isaac Beard; brother, Raymond (Betty) Barbee; sister-in-law, Molly Barbee; several other family members and friends.
Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy, WWII. He was a member of Turner Road Church of Christ and retired from General Motors after many years of service.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, November 14, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday at Dale Cemetery, Connersville, Indiana.
