William B. "Bill" Hawn
Age 68, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton after a lengthily battle with cancer.

Bill was born May 18, 1938 in Crossville, Tennessee to Ivory & Eva (McCoy) Hawn, who have preceded him in death.

Bill is survived by his wife of the past 50 years, Bonnie J. (Shephard) Hawn; two daughters, JoAnn & Brian Hubbard and Ruth Hubbard; special friend, Barb Dorfman; five grandchildren, Shannon, Tony, Kelley, Christopher and Timothy; two great grandchildren, Cameron James and Taylor Madison; four brothers and five sisters; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was a member of Brantwood Baptist Church. He retired from Lau Industries with 33 years of service. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to be used at their discretion.
