William F. "Bill" Anspach, age 83 passed away Monday, April 17, 2023. He was born August 11, 1939 in Ellerton, Ohio the son of the late Luther and Ethel Anspach. Bill married Constance Chepel on May 29, 1983 in Huber Heights. He graduated from Jefferson High School and attended the University of Cincinnati where he completed his Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering. Bill went on to have a long career as a Chemical Engineer working civil service in the Wright Materials Laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 32 years.
Bill was a supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. He acquired the rank of Eagle Scout and continued to carry leadership roles in the scouts throughout his life. He was an avid fly fisher, made all his own lures, and was a member of the Miami Valley Fly Fishing Club. He was also a member of the Engineer Club. Bill was a devoted Christian and was very active in his church community at Bethel Lutheran Church and St. Timothy Lutheran Church for many years. Bill will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Constance; two sons, Michael (Beth) Anspach and Gregory Anspach; daughter, Deborah (Dennis) Camacho; two step-Sons, John P. (Theresa) Flanagan and Timothy E. Flanagan; grandchildren, Kimberly, Matthew, Kenny, Christopher, Cullen, Jennifer, Jackie, Cheryl, Lucas, Connor and Sawyer; Sister, Phyllis (Paul) Adkinson; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
