Willard "Willie" Vanhoose, age 60 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2021. He was born May 19, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio son of the late Hubert and Geraldine Vanhoose.
Willie was loving father, grandfather, brother, partner, uncle, and friend. Willie loved being outdoors doing anything and everything. He enjoyed spending his time fishing and hunting. Willie was full of life and just enjoyed being around others. He was an active softball player where he played in several leagues and competed competitively. Willie is going to be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his sisters, Carolyn Sue Helmig and Rose Lee Chenoweth.
Willie is survived by his sons, Jesse (Ann) Vanhoose and Mitchell (Jamie) VanHoose; grandchildren, Hailie, Aubree, and Riley VanHoose; significant other, Linda Graven; siblings, Truman Vanhoose , Debbie (Ernie) Padilla, and Steve Vanhoose; brother-in-law, Jim Chenoweth; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 12-1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Funeral service will begin at 1pm. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
