Willard A. Watkins, Sr.

Willard A. Watkins, Sr., age 80 of Dayton, reunited with his wife, Marcella (Gabbard) Watkins on May 13, 2018. He was born January 20, 1938 in Blaze, KY to the late Samuel and Dona (Wilson) Watkins. In addition to his wife and parents, Willard was preceded in death by his 9 siblings.
He is survived by his children, Willard (Cindy) Watkins Jr., Raymond (Melanie) Watkins, Donna (Steve) Speer, Phillip Watkins, Brian (Rhonda) Watkins and Lori (Aaron) Henson; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; brother, Farmer Watkins; sister-in-law, Betty Coe; brothers-in-law, James (Maxine) Gabbard and Ray (Phyllis) Gabbard; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will begin at 10 AM on Monday, May 21 at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Chestnut officiating. Interment will follow the service at Bearcreek Cemetery.
