LINDNER, Willard P. "Red" age 86 of Dayton, passed away Friday, August 4, 2006 at the VA Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his wife Judith Lindner. He is survived by his son William Lindner, his daughter Jennifer Lindner, both of Miamisburg; sister Gloria and husband Jack Carew of Boston, MA; and a host of other relatives and friends. Red served our country in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He played the drums in the Army band, where he received an offer from Glen Miller. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, August 11, 2006 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 West Third Street. To send a special message to the family, visit www.NewcomerFamily.com.
