Willa Powell

Willa F. Powell, age 89, of Englewood, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 24, 2010. She was born June 6, 1921 to the late Mary Morgan & Will Myers, in Paris KY. She was preceded in death by daughters, Glenna Talbott Green, Janet Biggs Bryant; Roy & Ronald Talbott; 4 sisters; and 1 brother. Willa is survived by daughter, Gloria Brown; son, Jack Biggs Sr.; 2 devoted granddaughters, Tia Talbott, Autumn Bryant; 21 grandkids; 39 great-grandkids; 11 great-great-grandkids; brother, John Myers; sister Mary Meyers; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank The Hospice of Dayton for their love and care. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 10AM-12PM at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). She will be greatly missed by all, especially her devoted son who took care of her for the past 11 years.
