Willa Jo Bailey, age 86, of Fairborn, passed away on December 30, 2022. She was born on October 5, 1936 to the late Elmer and Grace Spencer.
She enjoyed going to garage sales to haggle for deals. She loved working in her garden and taking care of her plants. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Willa was preceded in death by her husband, William Bailey; her son, David Bailey; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Melissa (Scott) Mowbray; her daughter-in-law, JoAnna Bailey; grandchildren: Brandy (Matt) Wells, Meaghan (Sean) Walls, Courtney (C.J.) Pennington, and Emily (Aaron) Marshall; seven great-grandsons: Austin, Adam, Rylan, Greyson, Maddon, Oliver, and Archie; sister, Dell Sarchet; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30pm. Following the service she will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Willa's memory may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
