Wilifred Leona Dubbs
January 27, 1925 — January 19, 2023
Wilifred Leona Dubbs, "Willie," age 97 of Centerville, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 27, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Leona Wilson.
Wilifred and her husband, Dorsey, owned J&L TV Service for 25 years. She enjoyed traveling overseas with Dorsey and they also spent time at their cottage in Michigan that was built by Dorsey's parents. Wilifred was apart of the Dayton Two Steppers Dance Club, enjoyed china painting, gardening, antique collecting, and going to the flea markets.
Wilifred is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Jack) Steinbrunner; son, Ron (Nancy) Dubbs; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; as well as numerous loving relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Dorsey Dubbs; and siblings, Willard, Fred, and Dorothy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at David's Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
