Wilford L. Conley "Willie", age 75 of Dayton, passed away January 16, 2016. He was born May 16, 1940 in Dayton to the late Woodrow and Beatrice Conley. He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Shawn W. Hill.
Willie is survived by brothers: Larry W. Conley and Herbert D. (Mary Anna) Conley; nieces and nephews: Roberta L. (Donald) Hill, Cheryl Strine, Amy Conley, Jill (John) Long, Patty (Steve) Dove, Tyrone (Melissa) Conley and Howard Hill; and many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Willie graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; retired from Commercial Metal; and was an avid hunter.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday. Burial and military honors will be held at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
