Wilda Dean Lynn, went home to be with the lord on June 28, 2012 at Grandview Hospital, Dayton, OH. She was born May 25, 1946 to the late Leroy and Lillie Mae Cohen in Pickensville AL.
After graduating from high school in Carrollton, AL she moved to Dayton, OH, marrying Robert Lynn. She later joined Saint Matthew MBC on Stewart Street, where she has been a very faithful member ever since. She did everything she could for the lord and held many offices in the church.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Jeffrey L. Lynn and Michael W. Lynn (Jamie); Grandchildren, Jamichael Lynn (Johnnika), Alexis Lynn and several other grandchildren. Two sisters Lola Terrell and Betty Walker, of Birmingham, AL, brother, Roy Cohen of Carrollton, AL. Special cousins, Sam Cohen and Simm's Curry; Special friends Hattie Bryant, Mary Pope, Alma Fienley, Sis Davis, Rev. Joseph Bailey, Albert Hunter, and Earl Davis. Nieces and nephews, Tara Savage, Ryka Terrell, Dorthy Walker, Don Walker, and Charles (Sylvia) Walker.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 3, 2012 at St. Matthew MBC, 5027 Eichelberger Ave.,at 11am. Viewing is 9am until 11am. Family will receive friends from 10am until time of service. Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
