Wilda Ann Leighty

October 11, 1916 — March 29, 2013

Leighty, Wilda Ann, age 96, of Kettering, took her last breath on Earth on Good Friday, March 29, 2013 at her first breath in Heaven at Life Care Center of Winter Haven, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Eldon Leighty. Wilda is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law: LeeAnn & Richard Grant of Eaton and Donna & Ron Setser of Winter Haven, Florida; 8 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren. Wilda was a long time member of Southern Hills Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Ron Setser officiating. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Cornerstone Hospice, 2590 Havendale Blvd. NW, Winter Haven, Florida 33881 or Redemption Baptist Church, 156 N. Rifle Range Road, Winter Haven, Florida 33880.
