RENTSCHLER, Wilbur "Gene" E.
age 81 of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at his home. Gene was born August 21, 1925 in Germantown, Oh, the son of the late Charles and Nona Rentschler. He served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. Gene is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna Mae Rentschler; sons, Dr. Lawrence A., Jim (Wendy), and Michael Rentschler; grandchildren, William, Ingrid, Gretchen, and Griff; and one great grandson. Private services will be held at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Gene's memory to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel.
