Wesley “Wes” M. Luburgh, age 82, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Kettering Health Main Campus. He was born on August 13, 1942 in Fayetteville, NC, the son of Homer and Ruth Luburgh nee Yarbrough.
He is preceded in death by his father, Homer, and mother, Ruth, stepfather Raymond Wantz, and sister-in-law Monica Balian.
Wesley is survived by his wife of 42 years, Deborah; sons Charles Luburgh and Brian (Daralynn) Luburgh; grandsons Zachary (Clarissa) Luburgh, Colton Luburgh, and Hunter Luburgh; brothers-in-law Alan (April) Goff, Dennis (Laura) Goff, and Alan Balian. Wesley is also survived by his good friends Phil Mitchell and Brady Skinner, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
He graduated from Centerville High School in the class of 1960 and retired from Dayton Walther Corporation. He enjoyed a second career as president of Jamestown Transportation. Wesley also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
