Werner Piekenbrock, 98, of Centerville, passed away on Jan. 12, 2019.
He was born on Oct. 8, 1920 to Frank and Catherine Piekenbrock in St. Rose, OH.
Werner was an Educator and house painter for over 30 years.
In 2001, he married Joan Janning and they made Centerville their home.
He was a member of Incarnation parish.
Werner is survived by his loving wife, Joan; children, Lynne Hammaker (Bill Farrand), Judy Drake, and Jim (Connie) Piekenbrock; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jean; 5 siblings; and 2 sons-in-law.
Visitation will be held Wed., Jan. 16, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer South Chapel.
Memorial Mass will be held on Thurs., Jan. 17, 2019, 10:30 am at the Incarnation Catholic Church in Centerville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, Incarnation Music Department, or Day Away Program at St. Leonard Living Communities.
